The sandbanks here shift with the tides, and if you time your visit right, you can walk across them with barely wet ankles. Tucked off Claude Batten Drive in Noosa Heads, this off-leash beach draws a relaxed crowd of dogs, owners, and the occasional person who just wants flat, calm water without a wave in sight. The shallow sections work for kids too, and the expanded sand makes it feel less crowded than it used to. Stingrays pass through now and then, which most regulars take in their stride. Parking fills up fast, especially on weekends, so earlier is better. This is genuinely one of the calmer corners of Noosa, and the dogs keep the energy friendly rather than frantic.
Great dog beach. Parking gets busy so best to get there early!
This is my go to place in Noosa to get my feet wet. If you time it right you can walk across the sand banks with little to no wet clothing. It's a dog park, but I've never encountered an dog that's going to give you any stress. Parking can be an issue at times, but that the general rule around the popular parts of Noosa.
What a beautiful place. Great, out of the hussle and bust place, to take you dog and get some Zen

Coolum Beach
At low tide, Stumers Creek opens into a wide, flat run of beach where dogs sprint into the shallows and the morning crowd is more calm than chaotic. Pet wash stations, clean bathrooms, good parking. The evening vibe is quieter than you'd expect, and better for it.

Noosa Heads QLD
Where the Noosa River meets the ocean, this sand spit is the local's answer to the main beach crowds. Calm inlet swimming, wide ocean views, and a quiet that Hastings Street simply cannot offer. Best at sunrise or dusk.

Noosaville QLD
Beautiful place for a swim if you want flat water and no waves
Love that there's a lot more sand now and some nice shallow parts for the kids as well as the swimmable parts. Seems safer besides the 3 stingrays swimming near me but I don't mind that
Cross the footbridge from the sailing club and you're into one of Noosaville's most low-key river parks. Wide open lawns, a shaded pagoda with water access, and enough space to actually breathe. The Sunday Roadrunners car shows are a bonus worth timing your visit around.
