Kate and her team are the reason guests come back year after year, some returning every twelve months without fail. The self-contained apartments at Element on Coolum Beach are the real deal: proper kitchens, spacious layouts, and the kind of cleanliness that doesn't feel accidental. The three-bedroom configurations work especially well for families and friend groups who want to actually spend time together rather than retreat to separate hotel rooms. Location does a lot of the heavy lifting here too. The beach is across the road, a supermarket is a short walk away, and the strip of cafes and restaurants means you rarely need to get in the car. The pool area draws consistent praise. Book the ocean-view rooms if they're available, and ask about the 10-plus-night specials on the three-bedroom apartments and townhouses.

I have just had another amazing stay at Element Coolum. The apartments I have stayed in are always beautifully presented - clean, modern, spacious and very well equipped (proper holiday-apartment setup, not the bare minimum that you get elsewhere). Everything feels easy, with secure parking onsite. The pool area is fantastic, and the location is perfect: you can walk to the beach, and there are loads of restaurants, cafes and shops in minutes. The staff here all go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful 5-night stay in a three-bedroom apartment at Element on Coolum Beach. The location was perfect — just an easy walking distance to the beach, which made our daily trips so convenient and relaxing. There are plenty of great cafés, restaurants, and food options within walking distance, so we barely needed to drive. The parking was also excellent — secure, easy to access, and very convenient throughout our stay. The apartment was spotless, spacious, and very well maintained. It was impressively quiet, which made it ideal for a peaceful getaway. Check-in was smooth and effortless, and the management team was responsive and helpful whenever we needed anything. Overall, a fantastic stay and we would absolutely return. Highly recommended for families or anyone looking for a relaxing beach escape.
