Private treatment villas set among tropical gardens on the Sunshine Coast hinterland, where the whole philosophy is about slowing down rather than working out knots. Ikatan does not do deep tissue or remedial massage. That is the point. Treatments here run long and lean into Balinese ritual, and the garden setting earns every review that mentions it. Prices are serious, with couples packages sitting north of $400, and a handful of reviewers have found the massage pressure too light for the money. Worth knowing before you book. The staff draw consistent praise, the garden relaxation area is genuinely lovely, and the post-treatment glass of bubbles in the sun is a small but well-judged touch. Go for restoration, not remediation.
If you are after the ultimate bougie, lux treatment for yourself then this is the place for you. From arrival to departure nothing could be faulted. Every interaction with each staff member was uplifting. Do yourself a favour and take a moment for yourself at this retreat, you won’t regret it. 5 🌟’s.
Garden and settings absolutely beautiful and serene. Massages absolutely not worth the $510 my husband and myself paid for. We requested the medium strength massage as this was the strongest available but it barely tickled the skin. Very dissatisfied and disappointed with the experience.
Ikatan Day Spa was a quite disappointing experience and not worth the money in my opinion. The location is great and I was very exited when I entered the beautiful Balinese looking garden, my expectations were high. My partner had paid 420 Dollars for a 2 1/2 hour massage, that included facial, body and feet. The room where I got my massage was dark and cold. When I undressed I was starting to get cold. On the bed after a while of massage I started shivering and asked for an additional sheet. For 2 hours I was freezing and hoped it would be over soon. The aircon was blowing cold air in the room and I was told it had to be like this otherwise it would be uncomfortable for the masseuse to work. I could go out in the sun now to warm up!!! Outside I got a glass of bubbles, the sun was shining and I actually could warm up. I enjoyed the foot massage a lot, it was fantastic. Overall still a disappointing experience for that high amount of money.

Coolum Beach
Kate and her team run one of Coolum's most reliably good self-contained stays. Spacious three-bedroom apartments, a pool, the beach across the road, and a supermarket within walking distance. Guests return annually. The ocean-view rooms are worth requesting.

Noosaville QLD
A float, infrared sauna, and massage circuit that locals return to for genuine relief, not just relaxation theatre. Therapists here get name-checked for a reason. The raspberry, lychee, and lime drink at the end is a small touch that lands perfectly.

Everything about my experience was incredible. From the moment you enter the property you're blown away by the natural beauty and serenity, met with stunning minimalist interiors and very friendly staff. The treatment was incredible and worth every penny! I could not recommend enough.
Beautiful surroundings and really lovely staff. Experience was first class. It would be nice to offer some shorter treatments which would be less expensive so more people could experience this lovely environment. They do keep to a strict timetable but it's nice to be able to relax with a drink around the consultation time. Sadly I can only afford to go for a special occasion. Very relaxing.
Noosaville QLD
Four lagoon pools, a day spa, and five acres of tropical gardens on Weyba Road. The bungalow apartments are self-contained and genuinely spacious, the grounds crew keep everything immaculate, and a shuttle runs to Hastings Street when resort life isn't enough. Excellent value for what you get.
