Tea Tree Bay Beach
Noo Heads QLD · Activities & Tours
(193 reviews)
The sand squeaks underfoot. That's the first thing you notice at Tea Tree Bay, tucked inside Noosa National Park about ten minutes along Track 4 from the main beach. The walk is fully paved, manageable with a loaded beach bag, and the payoff is a calm, protected cove with clear water and a fraction of the crowds at Hastings Street. Swimmers float in light swell, dolphins and turtles turn up without announcement, and the outlook toward the national park headland is genuinely hard to leave. Shade is limited to the rocks at the back of the beach, so bring a hat. Parking at the trailhead is tight, a few spots only, so check the surrounding streets. Winter mornings can be near-empty. Summer afternoons fill up, but never like the main beach.

What People Say
You can not miss that place 💚 suchst beautiful place and a short walk from the main beach. Very relaxing, not too busy and the water is clear and amazing to swim in. Just make sure you bring your hat/ umbrella as it can get very hot. Must see when you are around Noosa 💚
You need to park at the start of the coastal walk trail in the national park (although there aren’t many spots so surrounding streets have marked spots) and walk down to the beach about 10 minutes. It is so worth the little trek there and back with all of your beach paraphernalia to spend the day at this beautiful beach. Calm, protected and soft white sand.
Tea Tree Bay Beach is absolutely stunning! A peaceful spot with crystal-clear water, soft sand, and amazing views of Noosa National Park. It’s perfect for swimming, relaxing, or spotting dolphins and turtles. The short scenic walk from the main beach makes it even more special.
Lovely spot, squeaky sand, beautiful water. Numbers of people kept picking up over the day but nothing compared to the main beach. There was some shade but only on the rocks at the back the beach. The light swell was fabulous just for floating and being present in the moment.
A great short walk up track 4 inside Noosa National Park. Really easy to get to, fully paved the whole way with a couple hills up and done. Very secluded spot with a beautiful outlook. We went on a winters day so quite empty. Just a couple of people there braving the wind.

Boiling Pot Lookout
Noo Heads QLD
The tide surges into hollowed granite below and churns like something boiling. Just 300 metres from the Noosa National Park entrance, fully paved and accessible, with dolphins, surfers, and Laguna Bay spread out beneath you. Park near Hastings Street if you're visiting on a weekend.

Beach Access 29
Sunshine Beach
Steep timber steps cut through coastal rainforest to a quieter stretch of Sunshine Beach. The access rewards the effort with noticeably fewer people at the bottom. Go light on gear and earlier than you think you need to.

The Big Pelican
Nooville QLD
A giant grinning pelican on the Noosa River foreshore, standing watch since the 1990s. The surrounding park, riverside walk, and Pelican Boat Hire's 60-year-old hire fleet make this stretch of Gympie Terrace one of Noosaville's most reliably good afternoons.

Noosa National Park
Noo Heads QLD
The coastal track from Noosa Heads to Boiling Pot Lookout is one of Queensland's best half-day walks, full stop. Turquoise coves, rugged cliffs, wallabies on the path. Arrive early or take the bus from Noosa Junction — parking is the only thing that'll test you.
