The park itself sits mostly empty. Everyone walks straight past it to the beach, which tells you everything you need to know. From Lorikeet Drive, the sand opens up into a clean five-kilometre stretch running north toward Stumers Creek, best done at low tide when the flat wet sand makes the going easy. Dogs are welcome in both directions, on-lead to the left, off-lead to the right. Parking is generally fine. Sunrise here is worth the early alarm. Fishing is decent too, with a few regulars who treat this stretch as their go-to spot. The one practical note: bluebottles and man o'war are a real presence during stinger season, so check before you swim. Go for the walk, not the facilities.

What People Say
Perfect place for a nice beach walk. On lead dogs to the left and off lead to the right. Sunrises are beautiful from this spot too. Look out for blue bottle and man o’war during the stinger season - but that’s fairly common for most QLD beaches.
Love the beach walk heading north for 5kms before turning back. Need to go at low tide though.
Awesome little park with easy access to the beach
Good beach access for all including dog walkers, with enough parking usually. Nobody uses the park; just the beach! Great walk to Stumers with or without dogs.
Great beach in Peregian! My gonto for a good fishing 🎣 session
More Activities & Tours in Noosa

Noosa Woods
Noo Heads QLD
Woodland paths, calm river beaches, and late-afternoon light that makes wedding photographers go weak at the knees. Dogs on leash are welcome, the ferry jetty is right there, and Hastings Street is a short walk away. Arrive early. Parking is a genuine fight.

Aqua Park Coolum
Coolum Beach
A floating inflatable obstacle course on the Sunshine Coast that's harder than it looks and cheaper than you'd expect. Timed sessions at $30 per person, deep water, plenty of life guards, and shaded BBQ spots for whoever's watching from shore.

Fairy Pools
Noo Heads QLD
A free natural rock pool on the Noosa headland, reached by an hour's coastal walk and a sketchy scramble off the main path. Clear water, baby fish, ocean views. Go at sunrise before the crowds arrive and the magic evaporates.

Noosa Regional Gallery
Tentin QLD
A glow room, shadow puppets, and a rotating program of contemporary art that takes itself seriously without losing the kids. Noosa Regional Gallery punches above its size, especially during NAIDOC weekends when Kabi Kabi cultural experiences come to the forecourt.
