The Boiling Pot Lookout stops people mid-sentence. Watch the tide surge into hollowed rock formations like something out of a geology textbook, except you're standing above turquoise water with surfers threading the break below. The coastal track runs roughly 10km return, shifting constantly between sparkling cove beaches, rugged headland cliffs, and dense subtropical bushland. It's doable without being a pushover. Parking is the park's one genuine problem: on weekends and school holidays, arrive before 7am or budget an hour of circling. The smarter move is to leave the car at the Noosa Junction and take the bus in. The walk itself rewards the effort every time.
While we were in the Sunshine Coast, we were mainly looking for beautiful places and scenic views—and honestly, the Sunshine Coast itself is absolutely stunning. We visited Noosa for the first time, a place we had heard about so many times, and it truly lived up to every word. It was our first visit, and all I can say is beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. I honestly have no words to fully describe how amazing it felt to be there. If you love nature, scenic views, beaches, and calm surroundings, this is a must-visit place. You can swim in the beautiful waters, relax on the beach, or simply sit and watch people enjoying activities. Even just sitting there and soaking in the atmosphere is such a peaceful and refreshing experience. Noosa has a special charm that makes you slow down and truly enjoy the moment. We felt relaxed, happy, and completely in awe of the natural beauty around us. It’s one of those places that stays in your heart. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Sunshine Coast—you will fall in love with it instantly. 🌊🌴💙
Noosa National Park is an absolutely beautiful place full of greenery, trees, and well-protected nature. The sea water was so fresh, clean, and crystal clear, making the whole experience very relaxing and enjoyable. I could see many people spending their holidays here, and it’s easy to understand why this place is so loved. I enjoyed walking here with my boyfriend in a lovely day.

Coolum Beach
A floating inflatable obstacle course on the Sunshine Coast that's harder than it looks and cheaper than you'd expect. Timed sessions at $30 per person, deep water, plenty of life guards, and shaded BBQ spots for whoever's watching from shore.

Noosa Heads QLD
Woodland paths, calm river beaches, and late-afternoon light that makes wedding photographers go weak at the knees. Dogs on leash are welcome, the ferry jetty is right there, and Hastings Street is a short walk away. Arrive early. Parking is a genuine fight.

Sunshine Beach
It's a very nice national park. During our stay in Noosa, we only had the chance to walk the most popular trail from town to Hell’s Gates, which is very pleasant and definitely worth recommending, although I found it slightly less impressive compared to the Cape Byron Walking Track, which we visited two days earlier.
Lovely walking track following the coastline with great water views. Slopes though not a hard walk. There are other tracks that are longer and steeper as well. 3 stars for meeting expectations and 1 star for exceeding them. Truly nice scenario and surrounds.
Beautiful and breathtaking coastal walk that I would highly recommend for visitors of all ages. The track is well maintained and mostly sealed, making it an easy and enjoyable walk with minimal effort required. There is also access to a stunning beach about halfway along the track, which feels like a well-earned reward. A must-visit when in Noosa.
Steep timber steps cut through coastal rainforest to a quieter stretch of Sunshine Beach. The access rewards the effort with noticeably fewer people at the bottom. Go light on gear and earlier than you think you need to.
