The Boiling Pot Lookout stops people mid-sentence. Watch the tide surge into hollowed rock formations like something out of a geology textbook, except you're standing above turquoise water with surfers threading the break below. The coastal track runs roughly 10km return, shifting constantly between sparkling cove beaches, rugged headland cliffs, and dense subtropical bushland. It's doable without being a pushover. Parking is the park's one genuine problem: on weekends and school holidays, arrive before 7am or budget an hour of circling. The smarter move is to leave the car at the Noosa Junction and take the bus in. The walk itself rewards the effort every time.

What People Say
While we were in the Sunshine Coast, we were mainly looking for beautiful places and scenic views—and honestly, the Sunshine Coast itself is absolutely stunning. We visited Noosa for the first time, a place we had heard about so many times, and it truly lived up to every word. It was our first visit, and all I can say is beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. I honestly have no words to fully describe how amazing it felt to be there. If you love nature, scenic views, beaches, and calm surroundings, this is a must-visit place. You can swim in the beautiful waters, relax on the beach, or simply sit and watch people enjoying activities. Even just sitting there and soaking in the atmosphere is such a peaceful and refreshing experience. Noosa has a special charm that makes you slow down and truly enjoy the moment. We felt relaxed, happy, and completely in awe of the natural beauty around us. It’s one of those places that stays in your heart. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Sunshine Coast—you will fall in love with it instantly. 🌊🌴💙
I visited Noosa National Park a few days ago, and it was a breathtaking experience, though it definitely requires some patience. We drove about 150km from Nundah, and while it should have taken around 1.5 hours, the heavy traffic turned it into a 2.5-hour journey. Once we arrived, the "parking war" began. It took us nearly an hour of driving around before we finally managed to secure a spot. Pro Tip: If you aren't there by 7:00 AM, be prepared for a long wait or consider parking further away and walking in. Despite the initial stress, the park itself is stunning. We walked the coastal track to the Boiling Pot Lookout. The view is mesmerizing—watching the tide surge into the hollowed-out rocks like a boiling cauldron is nature’s theater at its best. The turquoise water against the rugged cliffs is a photographer's dream. After the hike, we headed to Betty's Burgers for a delicious Halal lunch, followed by a treat from Messina, where we tried two different Ice-cream flavors. It was the perfect way to cool down! On our way back, we took the scenic route through the hinterland to visit Montville and Gerrard's Lookout. The panoramic views of the coast from the lookout at sunset were the perfect ending to a long but beautiful day. Summary: * Boiling Pot Lookout: 10/10 for views. Accessibility: Paved and easy to walk. Advice: Leave as early as possible to beat the Bruce Highway traffic and the parking chaos!
Absolutely spectacular. I'm doing the March on Challenge with soldier on So I did around a 10km walk The weather wasn't the best but the surfers were out in full force. Get a park early
The Noosa National Park circuit walk is a must-try, but the parking is a real challenge in peak season, allow at least an hour to find a spot! The walk itself is superb; the sea views are amazing and the water is so clean. Despite the congestion, the natural beauty makes it a life-defining spot. Just park at the Junction and take the bus if you can!
The coastal walk at Noosa National Park is absolutely stunning. The scenery changes constantly along the way — from sparkling beaches to rugged cliffs and lush bushland — so there’s always something beautiful to look at. It’s definitely doable, though you’ll want to be at least a little bit fit, especially if you’re planning to walk the whole track. I’d highly recommend doing the full coastal walk if you have the time. It’s roughly 10 km return (give or take depending on where you start), and every step is worth it. A truly spectacular experience. 🌊🌿✨
