Saturday night pizzas with live music beside the dam is the kind of thing that makes you forget your phone exists. Hosanna Farmstay sits in the Tweed Valley, ten minutes from Murwillumbah, and it runs the full spectrum from basic ridge campsites to low-fi timber cabins with verandah views and wooden floors. The shared kitchen is well-appointed, the beds are genuinely comfortable, and the creek-side sites are as good as they sound. Kids run the place, in the best way: animal feeding, a waterslide, treasure hunts, bunnies to cuddle. Staff get consistent praise across the board. The ridge sites feel cut off from the rest of the property, so if you're camping, push for a creek-side spot. Day passes are also available if a full stay isn't on the cards.

We were part of a large family group staying in huts or on powered sites. Our hut was clean and comfortable. It was so handy to use the fridge in the camp kitchen and the kitchen itself was clean and very usable. The range of activities on offer was enough to happily satify all the children from 3 to 13. From holding chickens to kayaking to whooshing down the slide into the dam, the kids couldn't get enough of such simple pleasures. Most of our party had their own bikes and those who didn't, hired them from the Moobal cycle shop. It was so easy to access the NRRT and my fondest lasting memory is of 19 family members from 3 to 67 cycling on the trail together. Hosanna Farmstay is a diamond for families.
What an absolute hidden gem! We will absolutely be back - the kids had a blast with so much to do without leaving the grounds. Campsites are spacious, well maintained and private. Fire pits so appreciated! Toilets and showers clean and great hot water. Love the cafe, pizza night and the farm tour. Kendall was so friendly and inviting - we had a blast! Honestly can’t fault the place and the price - what a great spot!

Robina
Waterside pub on the Robina lake with a terrace, cold taps, and a menu wide enough for any group. The portions are solid, the setting does the heavy lifting, and Tuesday quiz nights have built a loyal local crowd.

Burleigh Heads
A Burleigh fixture with a QHA award-winning sports bar and a beer garden built for long afternoons. The $25 steak burger and schooner special is the move. Solid pub fare, free parking, and family-friendly enough to bring the kids.

We recently camped at Hosanna Farm Stay and had a great experience. Our campsite was right on the creek with lush green grass, plenty of space, and just a short walk to the amenities. There was heaps for the kids to do — animal feeding, the farm tour, bunnies to cuddle, plus swimming in the dam and the water slide. Saturday night pizzas with live music was a great vibe and a perfect way to end the day. Overall, it was a really enjoyable stay and we’d definitely come back. Perfect spot for families looking for a fun and relaxing getaway.
Hosana is such a wholesome family holiday. Perfect in so many ways. I just wanted to draw some attention to the environmental concerns I witnessed. The creek campsites are gorgeous, however caravans camping there, have grey water literally running into the creek 🥺 When camping in state and National parks, all washing up etc needs to be 50meters away from rivers and water ways to protects from detergents, toothpastes and other contaminants enerting the system. With so many ammenities availability, collecting grey water and disposing safely in those campsite as well as sharing this knowledge with campers would be so much safer for all the wildlife living in the creek. We went for their 20th anniversary weekend and it was phenomenal. The camp sites are large, nice grass, and come with their own fire pit, which I’ve never seen in any other camp site. There’s lovely walks, a cycle trail, the dam, the creek, the massive slide, kayaks, play park, and of-course the animals which had scheduled feeding times you could join in with. It’s a truly wonderful place where we just relaxed with limited phone service, live music and pizza! The hot chocolate was a win for me and hubby loved the coffee and the shop/ cafe was great too! Going back in a couple of weeks already.☺️ glad to have celebrated a milestone with you Hosana!
Chinderah
Open around the clock at the Tweed Valley Way junction, this Ampol Foodary is the practical stop between Byron and the Gold Coast. Boost Juice, hot coffee, and convenience store staples. Useful when almost nothing else is.
