Perched on Skinners Shoot Road with hinterland views that do half the work, Byron Yoga Centre runs retreats and classes that draw serious practitioners alongside first-timers looking to reset. The centre offers daily yoga sessions across multiple styles, with residential retreat packages that include accommodation and meals on site. It sits far enough from the town centre to feel like a genuine escape from the Jonson Street circus, without requiring a car for an hour. The price point sits mid-range for the area, which given Byron's wellness inflation is reasonable. No reviews to draw on here, so take the programming at face value: structured, residential-friendly, and built around more than a single drop-in class. Worth a look if you're planning a longer stay rather than a casual session.

What People Say
Have been coming to BYC for 3 years now and it's my favourite place to escape and reconnect with myself and nature. It's only 5mins from the hype of Byron Bay beach and town but feels like miles away when you are at the retreat. The staff are so lovely and welcoming and the yoga classes are amazing. The vegetation food is so delicious and varied each day. This is my idea of paradise and I can't wait to be back.
My friend and I booked a 3 day retreat, staying in a twin room with ensuite. We had an amazing time and I LOVED the yoga instructors and types of sessions that were intuitive to our needs and smoothly adjusted for the mix of experience. I have come away so recharged and relaxed (exactly what I was hoping for out of this beautiful retreat). No session was compulsory and we could attend anything we liked, making the retreat our pace. For both days we skipped morning philosophy to enjoy swimming at Watagoes beach and grabbing a good coffee in town. The staff were always supporting us to enjoy our time and make the experience to our needs. So so good! The rooms were very clean with a silent ceiling fan and AC. The ensuite was great and the compostable toilet was excellent (no weird smells). Needs a possible update in bed comfort/style- feels outdated and wasn’t any chairs near our room to relax in. Meals were amazing- so fresh and yummy and healthy. Plenty to be had- we ate like queens. Delicious! The grounds are stunning and well taken care of. Loved swimming in the pool and sun bathing on the lounges. Napped in the lounger listening to birds and breezes through the trees. Byron yoga centre was an awesome experience, I highly recommend to anyone looking for time away, relaxing and enjoying such a restorative retreat. I can’t wait to come back! Special thanks to Ross and Aurora- amazing yoga with you both and I genuinely felt so cared for and supported. Big love, Mika
What an extraordinary experience! My 5 day yoga retreat was incredible! Exceeded my expectations in all aspects! I have achieved what I came for and much more. I leave with desire to return and adopt the yoga philosophy going forward!
Thank you so much for the experience for both my wife and myself. It was an amazing experience as we passed through Byron. Erin was an fantastic and experienced instructor and would highly recommend
What a wonderful opportunity this Yoga centre allowed me to attend with a wonderful winter package deal, so very grateful 🙏 it was a wonderful experience in its entirety. Welcoming, excellent nourishment, comfortable rooms, clean and tidy amenities, hospitable staff, glorious gardens, inspirational and caring instructors and so much more. Must also mention I had the best roomy and hope to remain in contact.

Open Sky Wellbeing
Mullumbimby
A wellness practice in the heart of Mullumbimby, working with individuals on a one-to-one basis rather than a menu of treatments. The kind of place locals tend to find through a friend's recommendation rather than a Google search.

A wellness space in the quieter, less-trafficked end of Brunswick Heads. The Tweed Street address puts it away from the Byron Bay rush, which is half the appeal. Good for guests who want to stay local and slow down without crossing the bridge.
