The rainbow lorikeets arrive uninvited and the ocean views stretch all the way to Burleigh Headland. That's the pitch, and it delivers. Justins Park sits on the foreshore next to the Burleigh Heads Surf Life Saving Club, a wide, shaded stretch of lawn with covered picnic shelters, barbecues, and a sandy playground that keeps kids occupied while adults do nothing in particular. The beach is patrolled year-round. The cafes on James Street are a short walk. Bring a picnic or fire up one of the free barbecues. Locals bring their dogs, their grandparents, and their leftover Sunday morning bagels. Parking is the one genuine headache, especially on weekends. Arrive early or walk in from further along the Esplanade. The undercover tables fill fast on sunny days.
Great place to spend a day to relax and recharge, just over an hours drive...very busy place but plenty of shade for cover. We got undercover tables lucky Small kids playground Facilities, bbq, toilets and good luck finding a car park
Beautiful park with stunning views of the ocean and Burleigh Headland. It’s the perfect spot for a peaceful walk, picnic, or just to relax under the trees. Super close to cafes and restaurants too—great for grabbing a bite before or after enjoying nature. Always a favorite stop when we’re in Burleigh!
It’s such a nice and spacious park with public toilets, bins, picnic spaces, a sandy playground area, shelters with dining tables, and a platform with the magnificent beach and ocean views.

Palm Beach
Tallebudgera Creek's sheltered, glassy water makes it the go-to for paddleboarding, sandcastles, and unhurried afternoon swims. Barbecues, a playground, and a café are all on hand. Come early, parking fills fast and the café queue follows shortly after.

Mudgeeraba
The Mudgeeraba Redbacks call it home, and on game days it earns that. The rest of the week it's shady ovals, netball courts, a skate area, and a playground in the heart of the old village. Also the Gold Coast's worst-kept secret for free Cbus Stadium shuttle parking.

We camped here for a weekend of racing at Willowbank Raceway. The toilets were handle unfortunately 2 out of the 3 where blocked with toilet paper. There was a decent size rubbish bin
Lovely facilities, friendly locals, variety of shops, pet friendly area, wonderful environment, great beach and views near by also a nice park to bring the kids and relaxation on the other side. Love coming here always a pleasure. Also a few tables to each lunch instead of sitting on the ground which is wheelchair friendly/ limitation friendly. My pup was so pooped after spending the day out meeting so many other dogs. Can't wait to go back.
O'Reilly
Suspension bridges through the rainforest canopy, a vertical tree ladder, and lorikeets that land on your arm. The circuit takes about an hour with kids. The narrow mountain road up is the only drama, and even that's half the adventure.
