The tree ladder is the detail nobody warns you about, and it's the best part. At O'Reilly's in Lamington National Park, the Tree Top Walkway strings suspension bridges through the rainforest canopy, with a vertical climb that earns you views most people never see from ground level. Bird feeding sessions draw lorikeets and king parrots close enough to land on your arm. The circuit takes around an hour with kids, strollers included, and the mountain garden adds another fifteen minutes. Wear shoes you don't mind muddying and darker clothes for the same reason. The real commitment is the drive: the Lamington National Park Road is narrow, winding, and genuinely steep. Go slow, go early, and don't let the road put you off. It's worth every hairpin.
Explore the rainforest canopy high above on a suspended wooden boardwalk amd suspension bridge pathway. This wonderful attraction allows you to explore and experience the beautiful rainforest trees and wildlife first hand. The walkway is suitable for children and persons of all ages and is not difficult. It's around 400 metres walk each way from the O'Reilly's car park to the tree top walkway
Absolutely amazing views, and walks (although we only did 2 short walks) Be careful on the drive in and out, but spectacular once you get there 😉 The ladder to the lookout in the Tree Tops is easier than it looks, and you won't regret the effort at the top 😃
Strollers available, the walkways are easy to walk on, and beautiful place! The entire hike with children takes approximately 1 hour and, including the mountain garden (approximately 15 minutes). The children were happy walking on the safe trail.

Tallebudgera
Flat, well-kept soccer and baseball fields in Tallebudgera, with parking that actually copes on tournament days. The small lake catches a nice sunset from the sidelines. Bring a change of shoes after rain — the grass holds water and sticks to everything.

Robina
The Gold Coast's first stage of the 257-hectare Greenheart project delivers in-ground trampolines, a fenced adventure playground, and an off-lead dog area beside Mudgeeraba Creek. Families have taken to it quickly. Bring snacks, arrive early on weekends, and check the shade situation before summer.

The drive from Brisbane was lovely. The road was exciting never a dull moment. The walkway was excellent. Diverse birds and the climb to the treetop was fun.
Amazing views. Super fun walk with the family. Did get a bit muddy at the end, so make sure to wear darker colours and shoes that are easy to clean and walk with. Even the drive up was fun. Great place to make memories. Would recommend coming here if ever come past the area.
Currumbin Valley
Sealed path, generous car park, and a series of rainforest cascades with swimming holes that reward even the most casual visitor. The water runs crystal clear, the sunlight filters through the canopy, and the whole thing takes less effort than you'd expect. Come mid-week to avoid the crowds.
