Three Sisters walking track (Broken Head)

The trail drops through subtropical rainforest before opening onto a headland with views back toward Byron's lighthouse and north along the coast. This is one of the quieter walks in the region, sitting inside Broken Head Nature Reserve and largely bypassed by the crowds that converge on Cape Byron. Three distinct rocky outcrops give the track its name. The path is relatively short and manageable, though the terrain is uneven in places and footwear matters. Go early morning when the light comes through the canopy and the headland is empty. There are no facilities here, no café at the trailhead, no signage beyond the basics. Bring water, check the tide if you plan to scramble near the rocks, and expect to have it mostly to yourself.

It was a nice walk again had to pay to park which was a more reasonable 4 dollars rather than the 10 dollars at the lighthouse. Views good but the description online was a little misleading regarding time it took, less than half hour for us and we go at a lesuely pace, lush rainforest walk. We have just come from FNQ and they had lush rainforest walks. The scenery wasn't spectacular it was very nice but I wouldn't say spectacular. Nice beach lots of waves with surfers waiting for that wave.

What a lovely spot. It's not too challenging, for the unfit. We were lucky enough to see whales breaching, just past the 3 Sisters Rocks. We saw babies as well. There were some dolphins around, under the waves were the surfers were. It's very windy so take a hat with a chinstrap. It was a bit chilly there as well. It seems popular with visitors and we had friendly encounters with others. Would visit again if I was staying at Broken Head.

this Amazing short and easy trail brings you to a wonderful and quiet beaches (good for surfing), in the while look out for the humpback whales and dolphins (I saw many whales during the morning) coz in this period from May to October, these animals emigrate in the ocean and there are plenty spots for looking out.

A beautiful walking trail just past Suffolk park. There is paid parking by the main beach area where the trail starts. The trail itself to the Three Sisters rocks is short but sweet, and you can continue your walk further to another beach. Lovely outlooks and scenery, and plenty of shaded sections. There are some steep sections, but otherwise it is appropriate for all ages.

Great little walking trail that leads out to an amazing beach. Got caught in a thunderstorm on the way back but that just created a very unique atmosphere!
