Jonson Street has no shortage of places to sit with a coffee and watch Byron do its thing. Palace plants itself right in the middle of that foot traffic, which tells you something about its confidence. Without a deep review trail to draw from, the honest read is this: it's a cafe on the main drag, positioned where visibility does some of the work. What it makes of that location, in terms of the cup, the food, and the room, is worth finding out for yourself. Go mid-morning on a weekday if you want a seat without negotiating with the tourist tide. Jonson St fills fast by ten, and the cafes that survive here long-term tend to do so for a reason.
So impressed with how modern and lux Palace Byron is. Such a good vibe inside, friendly staff, great sound and screen size, great to seats with space to drinks and food. Certainly up there as one of the nicer Palace cinemas I’ve been too. Would def come back here again.
Good service, delicious popcorn and comfy seats what more could you ask for? I preciously have had an issue with thr drink sizes being too small for what you pay for. However they have recently revamped the menu, The drinks are nearly twice as big, my partner and i got a Blockbuster Combo for 28 bucks which came with x2 Large Drinks and the largest popcorn so as far as cinemas go i feel like thats good value. The seats, while they are comfy, do not cater to taller people. Im not that tall only maybe 5"11 and i found that the head rest, rested more between my shoulder blades while i was sitting straight. So that was a bit of a disappointment. In my area this is a great choice.

Byron Bay
Dawn flights over the Tweed Valley hinterland, with the Byron lighthouse visible on a clear morning and macadamia farms rolling out below. A champagne breakfast follows landing. The 5am pickup is non-negotiable, but the light at that hour is the whole point.

Byron Bay
Morning kayak tours launching from Clarkes Beach, with the Cape Byron headland as your landmark and dolphins as a genuine possibility. Accessible to beginners, priced in the middle of the Byron activities market. The lighthouse circuit is the one to book.

An excellent experience all round. Lovely new premises, great local restaurants on the doorstep, great atmosphere, easy access and plenty of local free street parking (I’m happy to walk 200m rather than pay the incompetent Byron Shire for parking on their pothole ridden streets 😡!), very clean, and the movie was sold out but I had no problem finding my seat. Great sound and comfort. I signed up to become a Member and I will be back often!!!
Excellent staff .. only two women, but we're on hyper drive, to get everyone into their movie on time. Choc top ice creams.. to die for delicious! clean cinema with comfy seats.. 👌 top rate
Good cinema. Screens are a bit too small but well, it's a small cinema. I visited several times for the last 3 weeks and I was always insisted on getting membership or something and I always politely declined but sometimes the worker would keep insisting, that always made me very uncomfortable. I'm a traveler I was gonna be there for just 3 weeks I always said that, rhey always insisted..
Byron Bay
The working 1901 lighthouse at Cape Byron marks the easternmost point of mainland Australia. The headland walk takes around 30 minutes, whale season runs June to November, and sunrise, with the light still turning, is the version worth setting an alarm for.
