Ingenia Holidays Byron Bay
Byron Bay · Accommodation
(1,503 reviews)
Broken Head Road puts you between the town centre and the quieter southern beaches, which is exactly where you want to be if you're travelling with kids or a van full of gear. Ingenia Holidays Byron Bay is a holiday park operation, part of a national group, offering a range of accommodation options from powered sites through to self-contained cabins. It sits close enough to Byron to walk or cycle in, far enough to sleep without festival noise. Without guest reviews to draw from, it's hard to call the specifics on condition or service, but the location logic is sound. If you're after resort-style polish, look elsewhere. If you want a practical base with space to breathe, this is a reasonable starting point worth a direct call to confirm what's available.

What People Say
Loved our stay here! Our cabin was so nice, spacious, clean with all kitchen facilities. A small decking area. The park has a nice pool, but my favourite is being able to walk to the beach and catch sunrise each morning. The track to the beach is so beautiful. The park is big, options to camp. Caravan, kids play area. Will definitely be back for sure.
We booked for 5 nights and ended up extending our stay to 9. We had our van and stayed in an ensuite space. The parks location was only a few minutes to town. It allowed dogs. My wife takes her chihuahua everywhere so that was very important. The ensuite was clean and tidy with great water pressure. We were parked under a large tree and while we had some shad we also had Ibis roosting in the tree and pooping all over our van. Not the parks fault but something to be aware of. Overall, staff were friendly and helpful. The park was clean and tidy. It does get busy even during the week with a lot of mobile campers coming and going but over all we were very happy with the park and will definitely be back. In fact we have booked for March.
We had two nights staying on an unpowered site. We have a fairly large caravan and struggled to fit. I noticed that all sites were very small and everyone was really jammed in like sardines. I’m glad that we only were staying there for two nights in transit to our next location. I would certainly be pretty disappointed if I was staying there for a longer holiday. The bathrooms were appalling in our area. There were four women’s and four men’s bathrooms, including shower. When I took my kids to shower, I could not find a clean shower cubicle to use. The two available had hair clogging up the drains and was all over the floor. It must be a common problem because there’s a large squeegee mop which you’re encouraged to use after showering. There were two unisex toilets available and they stunk of urine. The flooring of these toilets were wooden floorboards and I think that urine had soaked into the floorboards overtime and there’s probably nothing that can be done to remove that smell. It was really disgusting. Otherwise, the location is fine. There’s a small pool and a small playground which my kids enjoyed. There is a jumping pillow which was not properly inflated so could not be used. My kids were fairly disappointed. I scoping out other caravan parks in the area before booking here. I will note, however, that the staff were great on check-in.
We stayed here recently and the place is really, really good! The structure is amazing, great kitchen, laundry, pool, and plenty of spaces to sit, chat and relax. For families, there are so many options for kids: a small skate park, a little basketball court (or just space to play whatever they want), and a playground. The toilets are a great size too, you can actually dry yourself properly without getting everything wet, which is a big plus! Everything is always super clean and tidy; the staff do an excellent job keeping the whole place well-maintained. There are many accommodation options too: camping, glamping, rooms, houses, etc. The only downside for us was that the campsites are quite close to each other. You really feel like you’re sharing the same space, which takes away a bit of that “nature and peace” vibe we usually look for when camping. But it looks like there are some sites further away (around Jasmine Lane), so we’ll definitely try those next time!
We were planning our trip to Byron Bay few months ago and we couldn’t found other dog friendly caravan park or accommodation in Byron Bay. But we were lucky to find Ingenia. We had very good experience in this place. - Good facilities Clean and shiny cooking and BBQ area with vending machine. Clean toilets and bathrooms. Basketball ground, swimming pool, kids playground and dog off leash area. Coffee Cart. - Convenient location. Few minutes drive to town centre and other tourist destinations in Byron Bay. About 10 minutes drive to A1 Pacific Highway. 10 minutes walk to Tallow Beach. - Nice environment Quiet, covered by lawn and trees. Wild birds around. Fresh air. - Good customer services Nice and friendly staff members. They are willing to provide help. By the way, our dog also want us to write this: He made a lot of new friends in the caravan park and he wanna come back again with his humans. :-)

Raes on Wategos
Wategos Beach
The only property sitting directly on Wategos Beach, Raes trades on position and a long-running restaurant reputation. Mediterranean in feel, small in scale, and priced accordingly. If you're going to spend up in Byron, the address alone makes a reasonable argument.

Elements of Byron
Byron Bay
Forty-five acres of coastal wetland, freestanding villas pointed at the trees, and private beach access. Elements sits deliberately apart from Byron's centre. The distance from the main strip isn't a drawback; it's the whole idea.

Broken Head Holiday Park
Broken Head
Between Broken Head Nature Reserve and one of the region's quietest surf beaches, this holiday park trades Byron's main drag for banksia scrub and rock pools. Powered sites, unpowered sites, and cabin options. The kind of place regulars rebook before they've even packed up.

Suffolk Beachfront Holiday Park
Suffolk Park
Tallow Beach is practically at the door, and Suffolk Park is a long way from the Byron tourist strip in the best sense. A practical, beach-access base for families and longer stays, with powered sites and self-contained cabins at a price point the main town can't match.
