Ewingsdale Road is the unglamorous entry point to Byron, and Discovery Parks sits right on it, which tells you something about the pitch: practical, family-friendly, and priced for people who want to actually afford a week here. The park offers a range of accommodation from powered sites through to cabins, with the kind of facilities, pools, playgrounds, communal BBQs, that make it a genuine option for families who'd rather spend their budget on experiences than thread counts. It's not the boutique end of town. But Byron's boutique end costs three times as much and doesn't have a jumping pillow. The Ewingsdale location puts you about ten minutes from the beach by car, which is the honest trade-off. Book direct and check for seasonal packages if you're travelling school holidays.

We had an amazing stay at Discovery Parks Byron Bay. The park is very well organised, with excellent facilities and a welcoming atmosphere. Everything was clean and well maintained, including the bathrooms, which were spotless. We were very well looked after by the staff, especially Talita, who made our experience even more special with her kindness and great service from the start. There is plenty of entertainment and space to relax, making it perfect for families, couples, or anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We absolutely loved our time here and would definitely recommend it. We can’t wait to come back!

We have previously stayed at Discovery Byron Bay, and thought that the amenities needed a little TLC. So after not staying here for while we decided to come back and see if things had changed. OMGOSH what a difference, staff are extremely friendly and nothing is a problem for them. What I was more impressive was the hospitality within the park, food trucks and Kombi Bar serving local brewed drinks. And even a Gelato Bar for Desert. And push bikes that you can hire. Totally different park from our previous stays. The park is kept very clean and staff around the park walking around with a smile on their faces and happy to help if need be. I highly recommend staying at Discovery Byron Bay. Well done to Management and Team ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ #340

Do you need a one stop vacation getaway for you and your small kiddos? Discovery Parks Byron Bay may be a great option for you. Tucked just outside the bustle of Byron proper, the park offers a range of accommodation styles to suit different travel tribes, from deluxe yurts and cabins to powered sites for caravans and campervans. Whether you roll in with wheels or suitcases, there is a setup that makes settling in easy. Where this place really shines is with younger children. The internal roads are perfect for scooter laps that seem to go on forever. The pool area and water park quickly become the center of gravity for families, with splashing, laughter, and the unmistakable soundtrack of kids burning off vacation energy. There is also a tennis court for those who want to swing a racquet, plus several small lakes scattered around the grounds that add a peaceful backdrop for morning walks or an end of day wander. Communal BBQ stations are plentiful and free to use, which makes casual dinners simple and social. Just remember, like any good campsite citizen, you are responsible for cleaning up after yourself. Our two bedroom cabin was basic but functional. Our son’s room was fitted with double bunk beds and a small nightstand, and that was about all the space available. Too bad we did not bring any cousins along to fill those bunks. Our room was similarly simple, with undecorated white walls and no frills. That said, it was clean to the eye and nose, and sometimes that is exactly what you want after a long day outdoors. The bathroom and shower were spotless, and the water pressure was excellent, a small luxury that never goes unnoticed. This is not a luxury resort, nor does it pretend to be. It is a relaxed, family friendly base where kids can roam, parents can exhale, and days naturally drift from scooters to swims to sunset BBQs. If your idea of a great family break includes sandy feet, tired happy children, and the sweet sound of quiet after bedtime, Discovery Parks Byron Bay might just deliver the reset you did not know you needed.

Really great prices. Great place for a family to stay with their pools, water park and other activities. Close enough to ride the push bikes into Byron and sight see. Second time we have stayed here and we are in the deluxe lakeside cabin and couldn’t be happier. Our cabin is literally above the water and the fountains make it so peaceful and relaxing. Love it. 🥰
