Coolum Village
Coolum Beach · Shopping
(583 reviews)
Undercover parking and a beach five minutes on foot: that combination does a lot of heavy lifting for a suburban shopping centre. Coolum Village is a compact, practical precinct on Birtwill Street that covers the essentials without pretending to be anything else. Cafes with coeliac-friendly menus, a mix of clothing and homewares, and the kind of staffed shops where someone actually helps you find what you need. It earns its 4.4 rating on reliability rather than spectacle. The crowd skews local and unhurried, which keeps the pace pleasant. If you're staying along this stretch of the Sunshine Coast, it handles the errands so you can get back to the beach. Go on a weekday morning when it's quietest and the cafes are freshest.

What People Say
It's been raining in Brisbane for the past week and a half, so a trip up to Coolum was a welcome escape. We ate at a fabulous cafe, where the food was coeliac friendly, and then wandered the shopping precinct. Shops fantastic. Then we walked along the beach, and whilst there were heavy clouds, there was definitely no rain
Coolum Village is excellent except for one major incident that happened today with my wife falling to the ground and injuring her left knee and elbow! It happened inside the Ghanda Clothing Store where they're supposed to have CCTV monitoring as advertised in their shop window, but the system is inactive, and there are at least three or four old style floor ramps that haven't been modified to stop customers landing on their faces!
Very handy and well stocked staff very helpful
Another coastal mall. Not breaking any molds.
Great little shopping precinct, undercover parking, everything you need
More Shopping in Noosa

Bay Village on Hastings
Noo Heads QLD
The food court at the centre of Hastings Street, where locals grab Hard Coffee's espresso, raid the Bakery Café for cakes and wraps, and occasionally defend their lunch from resident brush turkeys. Convenient, unpretentious, and genuinely useful.

Sunrise Shops
Sunrise Beach
A neighbourhood strip with genuine pull: the Sunrise Bakery's Carolina Reaper pie has its own wall of fame, the butcher earns repeat visits, and the IGA handles the rest. The car park will test you, but the locals have made their peace with it.

The Atrium
Tentin QLD
A small neighbourhood centre where the corner bakery's apple turnovers and eclairs stop people in their tracks. Coffee, Deepak restaurant, a watchmaker worth trusting, and enough parking to make the errand run easy. The kind of place locals orbit without thinking twice.

Noosa Village Shopping Centre
Nooville QLD
The name undersells it. This compact village-style centre in Noosaville has a loyal following for its on-site bakery, good coffee, and mix of independent shops. Grab a table outside and watch the day go by. Just know the car park is tight and floods easily.
