The fish and chips here pull repeat mentions for a reason: fresh, generous, and eaten with your feet practically dangling over the Noosa River. The Boathouse floats across three glass-fronted levels on Gympie Terrace, and the deck seats are the ones worth waiting for. The menu runs wider than pure seafood, with a $49 sirloin that reviewers call worth every cent, oysters, a four-course feast menu, and a tofu curry that holds its own. Service is consistently warm and efficient. Sunset from the rooftop bar is the obvious move, and the crowd knows it. Prices sit in the mid-range for Noosa, which is to say: not cheap, but the portions and setting justify it. Book ahead for deck seating on a busy night.
My Aunty and I went here for Lunch last week. The staff & service was fantastic and the meals came out so quick. We both had the fish and chips with garden salad. One of the best fish & chips I have had to date so fresh! A great relaxing view right on the water. Wheelchair friendly. I would highly recommend if you are in the area to go here. Thank you we enjoyed the dining experience alot 😊
Great location at Noosa for a feed right on the water. Somewhat limited menu and certainly not overly seafood orientated. Staff friendly and engaging throughout out visit. Prices reasonable and good size portions. Drinks order taken early and likewise entrees and main meal order taken by waitress at our table. Entrees delivered quickly however bit of a wait for main meals to arrive. Busy night so expect delay. Meals were ok without being outstanding and meets the average across Noosa eateries. Happy to recommend.
Me and my wife went here for the first time just recently for our 5 year anniversary. We weren't sure what to expect but were blown away by our dining experience. Amazing view and atmosphere, really feels like you're eating on a boat, you're so close to the water. Staff were very friendly and extremely efficient. Food was to die for. We had the cuttlefish as an entree to share and then we both had the sirloin steak, which at $49 we were both a bit hesitant, but after tasting that steak we would come back and pay even more. 10 out of 10.

River views, a relaxed lunch at the Noosa Yacht and Rowing Club, and a handful of boutique shops make this marina precinct worth the trip. Come by ferry from Noosa Heads if you can. The car park has its complications.

The eye fillet and the apple tart with brown sugar ice cream are reason enough. Add a table on the verandah overlooking the Noosa River, two decades of local loyalty, and pricing that doesn't punish you for eating well, and you have Noosaville's most reliable dinner.

Had an amazing dining experience Tues 9 Dec after a noosa ferries cruise. Our waitress was fantastic. We were lucky enough to be seated on the deck, for a more intimate dinner. We chose the Four Course Feast Menu... and so glad we did. Partnered the meal with Noosa Heads Beer. We did add some oysters and the Creme Brulee... again amazing. This is well worth the visit. Good portion sizes. We will be back to try other Menu items.
The Boathouse at Gympie Terrace offers a beautiful waterfront setting with relaxed indoor seating. We enjoyed fish and chips and a tofu curry — both delicious, generous serves and professionally presented. A little pricey, but well worth it for the quality and experience.

Easy to write off as a tourist stop on Hastings Street, harder to argue with once the seafood spaghetti arrives. The beach-facing verandah over Laguna Bay is the draw, but the Caesar salad with prawns and the notably good fish and chips are reasons to return.
