The bakery out front is what locals mention first. Worongary Town Centre is a small, slightly scruffy neighbourhood centre anchored by a well-stocked Coles, but the supporting cast is what makes it useful: Zarraffa's Coffee, an Indian takeaway with a following for the chicken, a local barber, bottle shops, and a petrol station on site. The vibe is functional rather than polished, and that's the point. Two levels of parking, with undercover spots at lower ground, though reviewers are split on the layout above ground. Skip the upper level if you can. This is the kind of place you duck into to get everything done in one go without the sensory overload of a bigger centre. Weekday mornings are your best window.
Worongary Town Centre is a bit of a hidden gem — the kind of place you might overlook at first glance, but it actually packs a punch. There’s a massive Coles anchoring it, but what makes it great are all the little extras: a proper bakery, a local barber, bottle shops, Indian takeaway (the chicken’s a winner), a Zarraffa’s Coffee, and even a petrol station right on site. It’s got this slightly run-down village feel — nothing fancy, but that’s what gives it charm. Easy to navigate, quick in and out, and way more convenient than battling the chaos of the bigger shopping centres. If you’re after a low-stress spot to get your errands done, grab a coffee, and maybe pick up dinner, this place quietly delivers.
Worongary Town Centre is a small shopping centre but very convenient, close, with restaurants, cafes, a pharmacy, the bottle shop, and Berkerry shop, close to home.
Terribly planned, the parking in the main entry beckons for an accident unfortunately. A few good shops, spaced out though you need be wary the traffic.

Miami
A compact open-air centre anchored by Coles, with a sushi train that locals rate and the usual neighbourhood essentials: Liquorland, Chempro, Australia Post. Not a destination shop, but a genuinely useful local strip with a more human scale than the big malls up the highway.

Nerang
Nerang's neighbourhood answer to the big-centre chaos. The butcher draws repeat visits, the Woolworths handles the rest, and the car park doesn't require a strategy. A practical, well-kept local mall that's been doing its job since 1994.

Palm Beach
Worst above ground parking ever! Park underneath. Poor overall layout of shops, plus no $2 shop!, but the outside bakery is the best!! Coles is very clean and well stocked.
We were surprised at the choices of food. Indian, Chinese, Mexican, fish and chips. Etc. We chooce Indian. We sat outside nice atmosphere.
Palm Beach's local anchor, built around Woolworths, Bakers Delight, a GP, and Chempro Chemist. Clean, easy to park, and genuinely quiet. It handles the weekly shop without fuss, which is exactly the point.
