The carrot cake is enormous. Multiple reviewers flag it unprompted, and one reckons a single slice feeds four. That kind of generosity sets the tone at this Currumbin Valley spot, where the portions are large, the pricing is reasonable, and the setting leans hard into its rural surroundings. The steak sandwich on sourdough draws serious praise, the Beef Benny has its loyalists, and the pistachio latte is worth ordering on its own merits. The dessert counter is the kind you stand in front of too long. Weekends get busy and the kitchen can fall behind, so arrive early or bring patience. The fertiliser smell from nearby farmland is real, and you do get used to it. Coffee holds its own, which matters out here.
We’ve now visited Pastry and Co three times and it has become one of our favourite spots. The atmosphere is beautiful — a really thoughtful blend of nature, warm decor, and a touch of luxury that still feels relaxed and welcoming. It’s the kind of place you want to linger in. The food is consistently excellent. Everything feels made from scratch with natural ingredients, and the quality really shows. Portions are generous and satisfying without compromising on freshness or care. The lemon meringue pie is a standout — absolutely delicious and definitely worth trying. We went on a busy Sunday and there was live acoustic music, which added to the overall vibe and made the experience feel even more special. Pricing is a little on the higher side, but it feels fair for the quality of food and overall experience. It does get very busy, and parking can be a bit tricky. They also don’t take bookings, which could be frustrating, but we’ve found the wait times to be quite reasonable — even with a party of nine on a very busy Sunday mid-morning, we only waited around 10 minutes. Overall, a consistently beautiful experience with great food, atmosphere, and service. We’ll definitely keep coming back.
We’d heard about Pasture & Co from multiple friends for quite a while, so we finally decided to make the trip there this weekend. The place was absolutely packed and for the first time on the Gold Coast we actually heard “please wait to be seated” at a café 😂 Maybe it was the long weekend, or maybe it’s just that popular. The whole place has such a relaxed and family friendly atmosphere, with plenty of outdoor seating surrounded by a beautiful tranquil setting. We ordered our usual mocha coffees along with the chilli scrambled eggs and miso glazed mushrooms for lunch. Both dishes were fresh, generous in size and really well balanced in flavour. Since everyone seems to rave about the lemon meringue pie here, we had to try it. Super fresh, light and not overly sweet. We also grabbed the tiramisu raw cake as takeaway which was a nice little treat for later. Even though it was busy, the vibe stayed relaxed and enjoyable the whole time. Between the scenery, live music, good food and buzzing atmosphere, it’s easy to understand why this place has become such a favourite in Currumbin Valley.

Burleigh Heads
Southern Californian-inspired cafe on the Gold Coast Highway with a strong aesthetic, solid chicken burger, and a dog-friendly policy that extends to snacks for the four-legged. The vibe is the draw, the food backs it up, and there's undercover parking below if you know to look for it.

Burleigh Heads
The checkout team at this compact Burleigh Metro will hold your forgotten coffee cup for three days. Well-stocked, calm, and staffed by people who actually know their regulars. Enter via the lane beside Oakberry Açai on Park Ave.

Went there on Saturday with my friends. It has lovely atmosphere. Food took a bit of time but the food taste amazing and home made. The customer service is great as well so waiting doesn't really bother me. If you want nature feels, relaxing place to spend with friends, family or special someone, this place is amazing! They have some performers as well which makes it even better.
Hubby took me here today morning, as he loves exploring places, coming from NSW, we totally loved it. Welcoming service from the host was extra nice. Service was quick, even though the place was fully packed. We loved the atmosphere. Hubby had the XL brekky, and I went with the B+E roll. Both were amazing. Then we got a slice of lemon meringue (OMG, huge and fantastic) and a savoury scone. Thanks guys, will be back!
Love the food at Pasture & Co! The Beef Benny was the best, and the smashed avo was good, though I preferred the old menu with the hummus. The ambiance is lovely and makes it a great spot to hang out. Service could improve but overall, a nice experience!
Palm Beach
Beachfront dining at Palm Beach with views straight over Tallebudgera and service that regulars keep coming back for. The seafood platter is the order, the chilli prawn pasta is the dark horse, and the recent renovation has made the whole room worth the trip.
